the battle of hastings 1066
took sons, mrs.perou and ludwig to the 'battle of hastings' reenactment in 'battle'.
weirdly i woke up yesterday going 'i'd like to go to bodiam castle today' and 'i wonder if they do battle of hastings reenactments?'
turns out they do, once a year on this very weekend.
twas fate: we were meant to be there.
met mum-mum and dad-dad on senlac hill .
had some mixed feelings about who we should be booing and who we should be cheering.
ended up booing the normans.
which is screwed on several levels.
who knows if i were more of saxon or norman origin a thousand year before?
as it goes we're actually french hugenot: silk weavers persecuted out of france some 300 years back.
'la reine margot' was my great great great great great great grandma...kinda.

your history
i'm coming to the conclusion that ludwig is mentally retarded.
EVERY single shadow moving or reflection he sees he tries to bite and/or jump on.
proper OCD.
only relaxes when he's asleep.
and he KEEPS running off out of the (now) well fenced in front gardens.
in pursuit of rabbits and pheasants etc...
