sweet dreams and not so sweet dreams

to the 'hospital' for an intimate audience with dave stewart being interviewed by bob harris about his new autobiography.

he told some great stories and played some tunes.

best bit of the night was hearing him break down 'sweet dreams' into individual tracks (including the milk bottles he was hitting with annie lennox)

annie lennox voice a cappella is incredible.

after the talk, i was introduced to dave by mark and gina

i mentioned that i'd photographed him once before: in cannes, at an MTV party in 1996, on polaroid for dazed and confused.

(i had a polaroid camera that said 'smile you're on polaroid' every time you took a picture. you could record your own message. i rerecorded mine to say 'polaroid is shit')

dave didn't appear to be impressed

back at farm, lucy did not have sweet dreams: she dreamt that a man with a stanley knife was chasing her round wales
