DTT early for new tyres and shocks to be fitted to perou-mobile

the tyres had not been ordered and were not there as promised

sat in a park under a tree surrounded by people doing yoga and yummy mummies with babies

tried to not feel unemployed and without purpose

eventually shocks were done and i drove east to collect a futon Lucy had bought on eBay.

some JOKER has turned the euston road into a single land instead of two and a bus lane as it has been for years)

subsequently the traffic jam was intense.

three cars blew radiators while waiting.

this doesn't appear to be a pollution solution?

allthoguh it is unlikely I will drive down this road again, if can help it.

almost always I'm in London now, I'm carrying gear which will not fit on a bike or handle pubic transport

when i arrived at the bay seller's apartment, she said, 'did you bring tools? it needs dismantling'

struggled with the seller's boyfriend to get a very heavy futon down from the 5th floor

and spent longer trying to get it into the back of the perou-mobile

the perou-mobile has no working air con currrently (another contentious issue)

drove home knackered, sweating and stinking.

sons broke futon 'helping' carry it into the house.

all was going to be well because our friends over the tracks had offered to take us to dinner at the fancy restaurant down the road

had a bath, texted to say me and Lucy would cycle

had a shave

MID shave, Lucy came to say a non-urgent ambulance was coming for Z

who was doubled up in pain at the bottom of the stairs

suspected appendicitis

eventually managed to load him in perou-mobile and take him to walk in A&E locally, who redirected us to ashford paediatric A&E

after 3 hrs there, by the time, i'd DEFINITELY missed any chance of dinner, z was declared FINE: discharged and not in pain

this boy has form for getting us to A&E with extreme pain which goes by the time we're there for a few hours

at LEAST he's not ill

dinner rearranged
