i didn't really know anything about matthew barney till he came up in conversation last week.

and then the next day i was discussing his work with manson (who had been to his party in berlin when he was there).

and then suddenly, this appeared in hackney wick.

i can only assume it's been endorsed.
like 'death to the pixies'.

or perhaps he's offended a local arty type?

after all, hackney wick IS the centre of BRITART and some of the FA$HION(istas).

i've never met him.
but i think someof his work is incredible.

anyone see my mate robert cary-williams on project catwalk last night?
'FASHION HAS NO MERCY' (cringe).
robert came over well though.

i took maximum to his first ever film in a cinema yesterday: 'chicken little' which has quite a surreal storyline: alien invasion.
he loved it though.
bit disappointed that in america it's 3D and here in the dark ages it's still 2D.
however anyD was enough to impress maximum on his first trip.

ALSO there's an advance shot of morrissey from my shoot in rome in OMM today (in the reviews section).
i think the feature runs next month.
i'll put the 1 cleared shot here after the weekend.

this is the second filthy, raining all day, sunday in a row.
if it rains next sunday for my postponed (rained off) zoot shoot, the location shoot we've been planning forever will become a studio shoot.

i'm in sussex, in my homeland (at mum-mum and dad-dad's).
if it's not raining tomorrow, i'm taking a day off and we're going to stop at bodiam castle.

i love a bit of ancient history.
