i guess it's as it should be, but life at the farm is easy-paced and simple.

apart from all the cider i've been drinking today, all i have accomplished is:

a trip to tescos and homebase with z.

a full day of sanding down two wrought-iron gates and the start of painting them back to gloss black (all to a beethoven soundtrack).

a paddle upstream with seb, maximum, z, otto and florence.
(i should charge people who stop to gawp at us on the stream...you'd think they've never seen people in a boat having fun before).

that's it.
easy living.

after dinner tonight we plan to watch 'the way we were'.
steph, seb, otto and florence are staying over.
