i am becomming obsessed with these birds who all currently reside in a large conifer in our grounds.
the sound of them chirping in the tree is deafening.

if you CLAP near the tree, they flood out like the cylon fighters in battlestar galactica.
and then they fly around together and zoom back into the tree when they think it's safe.

there must be 200-300 birds cohabitating in that tree.
as they fly overhead it's like the sound of a waterfall.

first time i've really noticed...now it's mesmerising.

today:
i drove to town for an MOT and hung out at andy's with other american car owners listening to mad stories of escapades (not escalades) in america.
strangely there is now an expensive, organic cafe next to andy's on goldhawk road, right on the roundabout, and it seems completely out of place there.

photographed anton corjbin at big sky.
had a HUGE studio which was completely OTT for the occassion.

i've met anton before.
i may have mentioned it previously.

it was good to meet him again and this time, have a conversation.

i told him he was the reason i started taking pictures in the 'first place'.
he said, 'don't blame me'.
but it's true: he has been a massive influence in what i do.

RESPECT!
