big shout out to my dad (dad-dad) who spent last night in casualty after falling backwards onto a wooden chair in his cellar.
my folks trip to egypt now canceled.
nothing broken though so big props to dad-dad's guardian angel too.
today:
baked bread
sky man came to replace the sky+ box.
he did comment on the pictures hanging in the corridor to the sitting room (che naked fucking a dead duck, alison naked with her legs wrapped round the back of her head and nick naked being blown up by a 30ft high propane gas explosion).
'ur...yes', i said, '...fine examples of my work'.
spent more time in the gardens.
took a family outing to B&Q and J.sainsburys plc (my old stomping ground)
return to farm to cook a great grandad perou's recipe 'pineapple cake' and another loaf of bread.
played 'connect 4', ker-plunk' and 'downfall' with maximum and z for HOURS.
