"...having got here, we did not get bedding till 9pm which was difficult as we were so tired, coming in from the uk: we were 6hrs in front of local time and exhausted.
i asked for kitchenware and ****** brought up a bowl, a side plate, 3 large plates, a toaster and a packet of plastic forks.
i'm sure there was mention of luxury bedding when i booked the apartment.
what we have is the exact opposite of that.
thankfully though the bedding is clean.
unlike the bathroom which has hair in there that isn't ours.
this ISN'T the first time i've used ******* to book an apartment (although it will probably be the last)
to be honest, i'm very disappointed with the quality of the furnishing.
the rate would suggest something MUCH better.
there are drawers that are broken and falling apart.
a sofa bed that looks dirty which i won't sit on
also, the TV does NOT work.
and there is virtually NO useable internet here.
i am here for business.
with uselessly slow internet, i cannot work.
i'm not sure what can be done now.
but i am not a happy customer and will not be risking a similar experience when next in NY.
i would have thought you might have checked the quality of the places you have on your list as as this kind of thing will kill your business.
sincerely..."

sometimes, i wish i was always working for people who would put me up in $600 a night hotels (and fly me upper farce)

clara

clara

got up jet lag early to do some tourist stuffs.

clara's first time in NY.

she has an annoying habit of leaving half drunk cans of root beer near where i put my half drunk cans of coke.

twice today i've caught large swigs of root beer.
YUK: it tastes like mouthwash.

VERY ****ing cold in NY: -13˚c
but no snow.
it was too cold to wear sunglasses despite needing them.

after central park, the empire state building and a drop into B&H photo for news on the 1d mkiv, met greg for lunch at lucky strikes.

and after lunch we all went to see 'daybreakers

a disco nap

which turned into a sleep all night

no disco.
