hot cold rinse

another day of lugging my book round town.

which can be depressing sometimes but was enjoyable today:
met pleasant, interesting, interested people and caught up with some old faces from old places now relocated.

the subway platforms were SO hot and stuffy.
then the carriages were air con cooled.
same as on the street vs indoors: spent many hours going hot cold hot cold, with a rainy shower to finish.

met US secret agents for apres work drinks (a couple of pints of cider at 'puck fair' on lafyette)

and went for dinner with greg at our favourite malaysian.

wanted to see 'rear window' at the outside cinema down by brooklyn bridge but too tired.
still exhausted by 10pm and waking up at 5am daily.
grrr
