the bow bunker MASSIV day 9
a large response to the call to arms at the bow bunker saw 11 of us on a herculean attempt to ready things for some shotblasting and plastering.
i am enormously touched and hugely grateful to everyone who came down and grafted SO hard for so many hours today
L to R: phil, ingrid, laura, paul, jemma, mark, maria, kris, some fool, tawfiq, dani, cheboy and jon
we accomplished a LOT

MAYBE, we'd have gone quicker if we didn't keep stopping to take photos.
but it's important to document the moment.
we're moving so fast, it's changing day to day.
and considering some of us were there for 16hrs stopping for a 20 minute lunch break and a couple fo 10 minute cider/pizza breaks i think we were rocking hard enough

mr. tawfiq khoury: 'you know what i mean mate?' (spoken in a south african accent)
please pronounce tawfiq 'like alfie with a T' when you meet this superman.

had a great day really
with some truly great and generous people who came to be a part of the bunker, which is now built with our collective/collected blood, sweat and tears.
lunch from doorsteps.
dinner from pizza express.
had a moment or five when we couldn't work out what was going on with the generator.
finally, after stripping it down and checking everything repeatedly, trying to run the lights and chargers off an inverter on the truck (and failing) and ALMOST giving up, i noticed someone had turned the cap that mixes air and petrol from ON to OFF.

de tail

tawfiq shadow boxing.
left the bunker reluctantly at 11pm giggling hysterically about anything and everything, completely delirious.
reversed perou-mobile into a large concrete block coming out of the yard.
was so tired just said 'oops'
dropped tawfiq home on my way back to the farm for the first time in 4 days.
had a shower about 1am and creaked into bed
