i could spend days looking through old, abandoned photographs.

RTBB (returned to blighty AND bunker)

maria slept through the woman behind us on eurostar repeatedly and violently throwing up into a bag while her traveling companion made russian sounding incantations.

i think they were doing an exorcism.

i wanted to suggested she got a room: ie. the bathroom, but was worried i'd offend someone recovering from chemotherapy or someone with morning sickness.

good, and strange, to be home.

as i walked through the door, maximum said to me 'don't let the cat out' and walked off.

no 'hello dad, haven't seen you for a week' or anything...

i will be here for 30ish hours
