Traffic wardens

Dear Sirs,

I have been waiting for the opportunity to appeal against the parking ticket that was incorrectly put on my car on 19/08/05.

As you can see from the enclosed photographs, it appears that the warden that placed the ticket on the windscreen of my car right by my valid parking ticket was having some kind of laugh.

It’s good, but inconvenient to see that traffic wardens have a sense of humour.

The ticket couldn’t have been any more clearly displayed.

It was a valid ticket for the day and time.

Although my valid parking has since faded some (in waiting for you to write to me so I could make this appeal) in the photograph provided, you can see the ticket, the date and time clearly showing, and the parking ticket right next to it.

Having paid for a ticket and having had to park a long way from the bank I was going to, as there is no parking closer, and having to walk in the rain down the street, I was particularly unamused by your warden’s actions.

I am similarly unamused in having to take time to print out the photos and write you this letter.

If your wardens might do their jobs properly a lot of people’s time and energy might be saved.

I trust this will be the end of the matter and that I won’t be hearing from you again? Perhaps you might have a word with the joker that wasted all our time and newham council’s ticket paper.

Yours faithfully

Mr Perou
