last night, had dinner at our hotel, in a brightly lit room with no ambience.
we were all feeling pretty crappy and tired so i ordered us a bottle of the house champagne (moet) and we all cheered up a bit.
got a cab back to the festival and took a few pictures before this fella: jamie lidell sparked up.
i'd never even heard of him but he was BRILLIANT!
after walking half the way back to the hotel (hard to find cabs in valencia?) necked some more night nurse with brandy from the minibar and passed out.
spent the day today, on site, frustrated by the lack of useful cabling/adapters etc for a while... and repeatedly set up and took down our lights on stage until we got our realistic set up time (for a 3 heads and a 9ft colourama studio set up) down to just 2 minutes...which has GOT to be a world record.
then took the lights offstage and set them up again behind the stage in the smaller music venue as we'll be attempting to photograph the majority of people at the party tonight (maybe 500?) that is being hosted by derrick may, the house of diehl and yours truly.
back at the hotel caught an hours sleep. wrote this. checked emails. called home. etc...
there is cider on my rider for this evening.
i also wrote classy whores...but i was joking (honest mrs.p).
way to tired to even think about that.
