z was up at midnight and then between 2am and 4am.
for no apparent reason but he was very pleased with himself for being up when everyone else was trying to be asleep.
got up for good (bad) at 5.30am and only just made it to heathrow terminal 3 by the time our flight's check-in was closing at 8.30am.
flew for 7hrs to JFK.
watched two 'ok' films which held my interest: 'the four brothers' and 'the business'.
and finished a 'difficult' sodoku puzzle.
we're staying at mr and mrs floyd's apartment in manhattan.
we can see the staue of liberty out their window and we're three blocks south of the gap that used to be the world trade centre.
had a lucky afternoon: a late lunch at 'lucky strike' and did some t-shirt shopping at 'lucky brand'.
just about to have a disco nap now and then we party later.
