i guess it's time to address the cobwebs over the fireplace situation.
mrs.perou, knackered beyond belief after the last week of caring for the sick and feisty, needed some help.
and as i've met the most pressing deadlines, i was able to do a bit.
maximum is getting better.
spent the morning with z in canterbury doing various shopping missions.
nothing glamorous: things like scatts country store for chicken spice (tonic) and weed killer.
this afternoon, took maximum and z on a 3 mile cross country bike ride.
maximum rode and whined all the way.
z was a passenger for most of it and did a bit on foot.
this evening, bought an über smart, handheld 5x4 camera from way back (going proper old school).
had a giant bonfire
and ate a steak sandwich, drank some chilled cider
and enjoyed underworld's performance on 'the culture show'..."we live in a field".
maximum is wearing his new power rangers pyjamas and z is wearing a pirate outfit to bed.
all is well at the farm.
