much better than 'fort apache'...
my friend marlon kindly invited me and some others to see the 'smashing pumpkins' show up in an amazing old united reform church in the bronx.
the show was INCREDIBLE!
had goosebumps through most of it.
sound was amazing.
i'm not a big fan of live music but i was thriled to be there.
towards the end, billy corgan and friends started taking the musical piss but like he said, they earned the right to be having some fun.
the encore of the show was like one after a theatre performance: lights up on stage and all 9 players out in a line to take the applause.
then all with kazoos they sung 'everyone is beautiful...'.
i laughed and laughed.
it was a GREAT show.
billy corgan is a strange creature on stage but a what a genius.
