from 1pm, waited 5hrs in a midtown studio for jim jones and entourage (inc. damon dash) to arrive.

had a fairly short cover shoot and then drove in a convoy of suv's to harlem: jim's old stomping ground.

i was hoping to have a kind of guided tour of harlem from jim (as i've never been there before) but was happy to settle for a condensed history of rap from vanessa (from XXL).

it was dark when we arrived and it was a little bit 'edgy' on the street: we were drawing the attention of police and locals, so didn't hang around too long.

finished by 10pm.
