rare photo of me without shades: ms hood
guess which one of us just came back from jamaica?
1st shoot of the year.
yes.
ms. lilly allen reminded me that she used to assist me (for a month...when she was 15)
i taught her everything she knows...about f stops.
didn't know it would come to this.
but i knew she'd do something special: she was the smartest, most street wise kid i've ever met...which was slightly disconcerting at the time.
had a really good, (and fun) shoot.
whilst 40 papanazis waited outside (the wrong door).
good way to start 2009.
after, drove with lord hamilton and frances into town.
and then returned to farm with frances.
got pulled on the M2 by traffic cops.
they said their database was showing the perou-mobile was uninsured.
'not so my good man' says i,
'i'm insured with adrian flux and i know so because they wrote an article on me and me motors (tractor) recently'.
after a little wait for them to pretend they'd phoned adrian flux to find out that i do have insurance, they returned to tell me the tint on the my front side windows are too dark.
the windows everywhere else are limo black but the front sides aren't: they (almost? legal) lighter.
not wanting to get into one that i couldn't (ever) win, i took the bollocking with a note that next time i get pulled i getta ticket and HAVE to get the tints removed (BORING).
you can wear sunglasses in a car but you can't have a lightly tinted window: nonsense.
i understand that it's stupid to have black side windows but really...
blah blah blah.
returned to farm and tore out more bits of the old cheese room.
was thrilled to discover a 'hidden' window.
i'm very good at dismantling...i'm not so good at putting things back together.
