couldn't stay awake past 8pm last 'night'.
then wide awake at 2am this morning, woken by the numpties next door repeatedly slamming their door and giggling drunkenly
dozed till 7am.
and realised that the hotel soundtrack now featured cockerels crowing.
(at first i thought it was the ghost of our dead cockerel coming to haunt me)
jakob my local assistant for the day (ms hood is on her first holiday in 4 years) came to pick me up and we met up with 'snowpatrol' at their hotel.

went with da band to da stadium in da tour bus
HUGE venue: 60,000 capacity.
the scale of the U2 show is incredible.
the machine.
apparently U2360ºTOUR is costing £121m
it was easy to see why.
shot snowpatrol doing their sound check and then around the stadium.
watched their show from the sound stage, which was great.
and watched the beginning of the U2 show which was also great but i couldn't stay awake long enough to see things really kick off and start spinning.
after a full day shooting, i'm done.
after a full day shooting with jet lagg i'm finished.

free smells
?
have returned to the hotel and there's cicada and owl sounds in the corridor.
it's too much.
