Velkommen til Norge
left farm at 5.30am
drove to gatwick listening to radio 4 and scientists hypothesising about how we can combat climate change with sci-fi style nonsence: turning half the sea to co2 consuming algae or by floating little reflective umbrella balloons in the atmosphere to bounce back the sun's rays.
flew to oslo reading about the 10:10 project and feeling sick for the world and ourselves.
are we in the end of days?
and yes...for what it's worth, i did offest my flight's (0.5 of a tonne) carbon emissions before i flew.
i would think after reading what i have today, that it's too little too late for us.
but
we all gotta do what we can, innit man?

if we all drive these, it would help.
and you get to feel (more) like your living in a cartoon.
but where do you put all your camera gear?

room from a view
so now, i'm sitting in a 'rock' bar in oslo with jan, my favourite viking.
listening to very un-rock music (currently bob dylan)
tweaking my site.
the site will be a bit unstable for a while.
but should settle.
can't be grassed to do it all offline and switch it over: doing it as we go, see.
and life got better.
because this barmaid asked if i'd prefer 'strongbow' to the very sweet pear cider her colleague was serving me before.
TAK
i think i like it here.
