i hate the moon it shines on me.
god made the moon and god made me.

grrrrrr.

despite best intentions, the entire day has been accursed: everything that could go wrong, has.

got up early to get on with framing the exhibition prints.

finished 5 before deciding i needed to start again and dry mount everything to stop the slight warping of prints.

re-framed the first 5 and did another 2 before discovering the mount card was not the right shade of off white.

will have to start all over again, again.

managed to jam bits of framing metal under my fingernails, repeatedly which became progressively more uncomfortable.

managed to jam a splinter of wood into a nail splitting it in half, getting some trousers out of my wardrobe.

james bishop from swansea 'top gear' won't answer the phone anymore and hasn't answered my reasonable email regarding the unfit for purpose wheels.
so now i have to remind him in writing of my statutory rights (which supercede ANY returns policies) and then get on with the legal action etc...
so dull.

DTT

discovered that the three jobs i'd sent off by ftp today were all corrupt.
this news came one at a time, each progressively annoying.

several times today, i've said out loud the words 'WTF is going on with today? EVERYTHING is going wrong.'

decided to hide in a cinema and watch the reputedly good 'kick ass' which was not good.
bought a strawberry cornetto which had obviously melted at some point and then been refrozen.

went to the loos and when i went to wash my hands discovered there were designer taps that i spent several minutes getting progressively wound up about not being able to work, before i realised they were broken and would never work.

in emails to mus i mentioned what a ridiculous day it's been and how everything's been going wrong.
he emailed back, 'full moon mate'.

i hadn't even realised: i should have known.
obvious in retrospect.

called mrs.perou to say 'HA! it's a full moon: of course'
in answering the phone, mrs.perou tripped over the puppy and kicked the kitchen table hard, crippling herself.

she'd been phoning me earlier to say that an underground pipe in the garden has spontaneously burst and been leaking for an unknown amount of hours/days.

i am going to bed to hide.
this full moon has been the most aggressive for a long time.
