the 26lb turkey we were cooking for lunch was ready in time for supper.
had to cut it's legs off to fit it in the oven.

but it was worth the wait.

spent an hour stripping brussell spouts into brussell sprout leaves as mrs.perou had seem some tv food porn that suggested it was a 'new way of doing sprouts'.
then mrs.perou threw the colander of brussell sprout leaves to the chickens thinking they were scraps.
