quality and quantity

posting another 889 pictures into the archive today (snaps from 2010) i found THIS list i made for myself last year.

i got a bit done.
and there was a lot going on that wasn't even on the list.
but i still didn't get the book out and y'all didn't get to see a massive retrospective in london or new york.

i started backing up my diary this afternoon, which started as words only, back before maximum was born 14.1.2002
reading those immature, badly written early words is uncomfortable.
but it's amazing how much i'd forgotten and have now remembered, briefly.

i'm on the wagon.
have been since friday...it's not going well though.
strongbow is calling me.

a beach holiday somewhere hot and sunny is also calling me.

(un)amusing interview on radio 4 this morning with the director of rolls royce (cars) where they were discussing the huge (171%) rise in worldwide sales even though their cheapest vehicle starts at £165,000.
rich                                                                                      poor.
they also discussed that people buying rolls royces don't have to worry about the mpg or co2 emmissions because they can afford it...?

i think the people who are the richest in the world should be trying to do the most for it and the other people in it.
'i can afford a big car so fuck you and the environment' is grotesque, isn't it?

this evening i've had an (un)entertaining argument with mrs.perou who wants me to do pilates for my back and i don't want to.

125 magazine have rejected my 'topless nuns with guns' story for their 'religion issue' citing a 'no nuns' policy (didn't see that in the small print)
i have always been a fan of the obvious and often overlooked (see my picture of british sea power etc...)
they will appear here probably...sometime.
