i'm a regular at the local doktor's surgery despite the covid-19 restrictions
psycho semantics
or as the 'new fast automatic daffodils' didst write, 'exit body exit mind'
(not quite as bad as my accident prone dad who needs a season ticket for A&E)
last week i was seeing a(another) physio who told me the pain in my back is neurological and that i need to think about the pain in a different way.
this is hard to accept as i am not in pain when i am lying down or taking drugs
if it was all in the mind, would either of these solutions work?
i stopped taking the course of anti-depressants they prescribed me (for their nerve numbing properties, not because i'm depressed)
unfortunately as well as numbing nerves, they also numb your BRAIN: after a day on them i was zombied-out
i'd rather feel pain and be able to think: wasn't looking to go into stasis.
last week i was having bloods taken: results in 3 weeks
today i went to show a doctor my nuts, which was kinda embarrassing
but the good news is...he doesn't think i have testicular cancer
GOOD NEWS but i'm BORED of BACK ACHE
count yourselves lucky i got a nice shot of the surgery floor: today's picture coulda been less easy
