a broken frame

(double meaning title: IYKYK)

as i was taking these pictures, i realised i'd dropped my considerably expensive cutler and gross glasses in this field, that was being driven over by a combine and 6 ton tractor

fortunately farmer Phillip found them for me

(i couldnt see them because i wasn't wearing them)

and they hadn't been run over: PHEW

then to margate with Z, to photograph the great MADNESS: fans, the band before, and later on stage

got to photograph the zutons' drummer, Paul who said his name was 'Barry Nagasaki' who had been walking around nonchalantly in a Kimono.

at first he declined to be photographed but i said, 'you can't walk round dreamland in a dressing gown and NOT be photographed'

'it's a kimono', said Barry Nagasaki

'which is kind of like a nice Japanese dressing gown', i reasoned, 'step this way for your free photograph'.

as i was photographing Madness (briefly), i said to Suggs, pointing at z, 'do you remember him?'

Suggs didn't

i explained: when he was a little boy, he came to one of our first shoots, he was nervously holding my hand and you looked down at him and said 'you don't say much do you, little c**t?!'

suggs looked at z, and said, 'he still doesnt say much...but now he's a big c**t'

we all laughed

z later said, 'fair play: he's got me again'

band were GREAT

but left early and back late with wrist and shoulder HURTIN
