woods adventure

to my really happy place

finished winching the remaining big trees out of the lower pond thanks to z

last chance to exploit the child/slave labour before he returns to uni

(maximum works weekends so isnt able to help us)

was HARD going and hot

it was not hot IN the pond so z and snoop spent some time in there

snoop LOVES wild swimming

z wears waders

they are standing on a fallen oak, that we are leaving in for kingfishers et al to perch upon

the water is deeper than 10ft here...maybe 15-20ft tbc

we'll be dredging in the autumn

snoop is a durty dawg

actually cleaner here having washed off some in deeper water

after workings, stopped next door for a gator adventure and 'great stump heist', a drink and happy catch up with our friendly neighbours

leaving, stopped to remove more barb from our fence

will be retro-fitting something of my own design for some easier deer traversing soon.

back in ashford swopped dog for firstborn, and relocated for the best Thai food in east England (?) and some excellent pornstar martinis

a great day.
