happiest day of my life
feeling a little fragile after a long day, night and morning of celebrations back at ours yesterday.
today has been a recovery day, ALL day.
yesterday, we got married in the local church.
i was in top hat and tails.
mrs.perou looked STUNNING (i definately chose well) in a customised 50's dress.
all the children were in fancy dress (maximum as a fireman with a sword(?) and z as a bumble bee).
we walked out to the wedding march which scratched into sister sledge's 'we are family' nice and loud.
people cheered, i tried hard not to cry.
had 160 of our best friends back to the farm to celebrate.
the reception was in our largest barn.
enjoyed brilliant sunshine, heavy showers AND a rainbow through the day.
had to pull people parked on the marsh out by tractor: quite entertaining.
had a bouncy castle (big enough for adults), sumo suits, a traditional punch and judy show, a lifeguard to prevent micheal barrymore moments, scrumptious food, cider and champagne.
FULL moon and beautiful clear night.
THANKYOU to all who cleared up the aftermath and debris while i slept till 3pm.
