so, i bought frances a ibook for her birthday.
and when frances shot her big shoot for a magazine this week on digital, she downloaded the pictures to her ibook.
she didn't backup the files straight away (a bad habbit she's learnt from me) and when she turned on her laptop today...this is all she saw.

who saved frances' skin by telling us how to jump-start her computer from mine (with firewire cable and holding down the 'T' key as it restarts).

in other news, photographed mitchell and webb at holborn studios today.
which was good.
bought a male to male vga cable in town.
and i am having continued problems with the p30+ back.
in fact, as the flash centre point out, it's not a problem with the back or adapter plate but with my mamiya rz body...grrrr...which i now have to replace.
i woulda bought a hassleblad H3 if i'd known i'd need a new body etc...
i'm unamused.
apparently there are 70 flood warnings for the uk in place tonight.
i spent 5 hours driving in the howling wind and rain today.
returned to the farm at a steady 20 mph.
woo-hoo.
it's a chevrolet...i (of course) want one!
but the dodge ZEO is the shit.
