i run new york
hotchip, paula rego, matthew vaughn and jane goldman and cathie pilkington are all up here now.
spent the morning writing v2 of a video treatment for someone this morning...this time it's either set in mexico or cuba.
and we'll be shooting on 35mm film: i'm not fucking around with super 16mm or digi anymore...
drove to canterbury and bought 400 shotgun cartridges and a new battery for my dear john deere.
some thatching repairs were done.
the day has passed too quickly.
i guess this is a bi-product of spending hours listening to the same piece of music over and over and over again and then struggling to put pictures into words for the benefit of others (and of course, myself).
written words don't come easy (to me)...which was half the reason i started writing a diary, way back (when blogging wasn't an international pass-time).
when i first started keeping my diary online it was words only and other (anonymous) photographers used to email me from bogus hotmail accounts going 'who the fuck do you think you are writing an online diary? no-one will read it...do you think you're special?'
i think we're all special.
and some of us are special needs.
