yes, i know z won't forgive me for this later in life...
after 5 hours sleep, decided to drive down to east sussex to see mum-mum and dad-dad.
haven't seen mum-mum since she broke her ankle.
and it gave mrs.perou one of her two days without children a year...
primed the sons to shout 'SURPRISE!' when the front door was opened.
the sons LOVE mum-mum and dad-dad like i do.
so it was good to see them.
after lunch, me and the sons went to 'lewes castle'.
maximum is going through a castle-love and castle building phase.
he may be an architect soon.
he's knocking out 3d cardboard castles in intricate detail at a ferocious rate currently.
after lewes and some dressing up, called back at mum-mum and dad-dad's for tea
and drove home in the rain after that.
inexplicably beefing to 'charlotte's web' which the sons were watching on the perou-mobile in flight entertainment.
today is dedicated to my mum and dad who have given me a privelidged, carefree and truly happy start in life.
(not very rock n' roll is it)
i couldn't and wouldn't want for better parents, ever.
i hope one day our sons will feel the same about me and mrs.perou.
