the unwritten rule of science...

it will always stop by the time you get there.

wasted half a day driving the perou-mobile back to chiswick to show andy 'the noise'.

the engine of the perou-mobile made 'the noise' for 82 miles then stopped 3 miles before i arrived at the garage.
it didn't return during the hour andy tested it.

it didn't start again until 30 miles from farm.

aaaarcgh.

andy tried to palm his chevvy day-van off on me as a courtesy car.
i suggested the corvette on his forecourt might be more (less) suitable.

back at farm, retouched through the afternoon and into early evening.
