ms.hood and myself spent the morning retouching at farm.
then DTT.
checked into the salubrious hotel of the moment in clerkenwell.
leaving the hotel and walking through an assembled group of tourists just off on a guided tour, there was an audible sharp intake of breath (from them)
then their initial shock turned into an awkward mass laugh.
to which i cackled back in a deranged manner.
i used to like dressing to amuse people.
but people who are shocked and express their discomfort annoy me.
walked to shoreditch house feeling like a tourist myself.
feels like such a long time ago that i lived round old street.
it was...first landed there in 1994 when it was a ghost town evenings and weekends.
now it's the exact opposite.
shoreditch is all about the evenings and weekends.
met heather, frances, mark and ros.
drank and ate.
walked to the AOP (association of photographers) gallery for the launch of 125 magazine's 'future' issue.
met good people.
saw some people i haven't seen for ages...which was nice.
saw sean ellis who i haven't seen for ages...which was...
strangely got myself invited to an orgy in north london
for the birthday of one rock star legend in the house of another with promised porn stars and hookers etc...
declined.
but was tremendously amused...especially by the coded wording of the email invitation.
AWK, campion and ME
mr.campion turned up with mr andrew WK.
and it was very good to see them too.
after the show, we decamped back to shoreditch house and sat on the roof, by the pool wearing towells to keep warm.
drank much more.
when shoreditch house was closing up me, frances, mark, ros and now one of my agents, kate decamped once more to mother @333.
weirdness on the door.
even weirder to be inside.
i'm sure i haven't been there for 10 years.
it's hardly changed.
ms.hood and mark's 'dance off' was spectacular.
left just as that was closing at 3am.
walked back to hotel
