it saddens me that the two best shoots i've done this year, i can't show to you/the world...yet.

have finally finished retouching the genesis p orridge shots and now they're off to a publication.
(i am rethinking my thoughts on digital in daylight: i like it IF you can spend a couple of hours retouching each shot after).

grace jones is with a publication that will publish soon.

i started late on the day.
after a fruit/veg run into town, picking up from the local greengrocers (for the pigs) i sat my lazy ass down and sunbathed for an hour, stretched out with mrs.perou by the pool.

it was at this point (10am on a monday morning) that i considered that (my) life is pretty great.
but at the same time the enjoyment was tainted by the certain knowledge that it's all subject to (sometimes immediate and without warning) change (see "where will it end...nobody knows")
so i feel i have to savour every precious moment of the good stuff.
and i do.
i know i'm blessed...blahblahblah.

some dumb bird flew into a window of maximum's room.
it has broken a pane of glass 20x26".
quote for the supply and fitting of a piece of antique glass this size?
£246
1 small piece of glass!
WTF?
living in an 350yr old house has some drawbacks.
