apple blossom

i always enjoy blossom on trees.
but this year, i'm really noticing the delicacy of apple blossom, seemingly for the first time.

so beautiful.

fairly typical weather for an english bank holiday:
today we had sunshine, rainy april showers (a month late) then HAIL ceaser.

least we got some of my favourite god-given lighting conditions: black skies and sunshine.

managed to trap my left palm in the (not still spinning thankfully) rotary blades of my john deere today, trying to free it from a tent peg.

hand hurts a lot but only internal bleeding: more of a pinch than a slice.

i have initiated a spring clean at the farm.
