today neato, kate and sons came to find us at our holiday home.

(we were out at the paracombe fete) and so they were asking people if they knew where we were staying.
neato flagged down a nice (local) car and asked the driver if he knew where his friend (me) was staying: '...he drives a large, black 4x4'

'oh yes: i've seen him: and that's the most ugly car i've ever seen...you can tell him from me'.

happy to be making an impression on the locals.
