left the farm at 6am after very little sleep: my mind was racing all night and i knew i was getting up early: the pressure of needing to be asleep was keeping me awake.
at 4am i got up and toasted some crumpets which i ate and washed down with a large mug of hot chocolate.
made it to sidcup in an hour (60 miles).
took an hour and a half to go the last 14miles into clerkenwell.
realised i could have walked from sidcup to the blackwall tunnel quicker than i was (not) driving.
i am looking at either leasing an office with a bed in it or buying something random north of the thames to try and cut driving time.
the farm's only 80 miles from central london: on a 'good day' without traffic or problems, it's only an hour away.
on a bad day i'm doing it in 3hrs ish.
which was not part of the masterplan.
still, the minute i turn off the motorway and into the belly of our new homeland, i feel like it's all worth it.
and day-dreaming about living in 1 bedroom flat with neighbours and london around was giving me the fear yesterday.
was good to shoot simon again, and with nick.
they're really funny together.
their new film's called 'hot fuzz'.
shoot finished at 1.30pm and i didn't waste anytime hanging around london: sped back home style sans congestion.
still managed to almost fall asleep mid driving: it's really trippy driving tired.
