drove to town.
despite the heavy fog, got there ahead of schedule and managed to get the last christmas present that had been evading me.
london central was empty
caught the train to manchester.
euston station and apparently all trains were the opposite of empty.
unfortunately, due to a wardrobe error(?) my train ticket, that had been booked for me, was booked for yesterday and not valid for travel today...and because the trains were so full, only passengers who had reserved seating were allowed to board.
i boarded the train blissfully unaware of my out of date ticket.
and told someone that they were sitting in my seat...despite them protesting to have the same seat on their ticket.
etc...
frances had the same trouble with her ticket from nottingham.
at manchester g-mex, sat around for a few hours in the cold.
caught some of kristeen young's soundcheck.
she is AMAZING.
photographed her with morrissey.
caught a train home through the fog covering england.
drove home through the fog covering kent.
a long, almost round, trip.
