happy easter

happy easter

once again, woke up to another chick born.
3 out of 3 hatched.

the chicks are named (in arrival order)

1. king kong

2. god (he/she's black)

3. jesus (who was born aka. who 'rose' on easter sunday)

james managed to rig the sails to 'flash' and we had an entertaining/dangerous time heading upstream.
paddled back.

lunch at the 'red lion' at stodmarsh.
we had a full sunday roast.

ze kiddies found easter eggs hidden around the pub garden.

maximum and z enjoyed their second egg hunt of the day.
the easter bunny (me) had been very busy dropping eggs all over our farm first thing.

spent the hot, hot afternoon extreme gardening again: still clearing out bits of rotting shed wood and metal from the orchard.


wish we had some garden furniture...
