i really don't know what's going on or how this country can recover at this point: we seem to be on a violent, downward spiral.
the last three days have seen a kid stabbed to death in leyton, a pregnant girl shot twice in the head, in her home, in clapham (over a parking dispute) and today another 15yr old kid was shot in the head in a drive-by shooting.
i'm more glad than ever to have our sons growing up out of london.
saw a photo story on knife violence in glasgow the other day...almost all of the incidences photographed were the result of random attacks including one which saw two guys hold down a complete stranger and cut off his fingers with a machette.
while i write this there's man united vs roma football 'fans' rioting at old trafford.

today i amused myself after the delivery of my new soundsystem by playing music so loud in the garden it was echoing off trees.
it's night club loud outside: the ground shakes with the bass.
hahahahaaa...
i am an obnoxious neighbour.
only, we don't really have neighbours that close.
hopefully i won't have the same problem as bill drummond did when he let rip with the klf sound tank and a farmer brought round a still born calf to complain about the 'sound effects'.
