m...m...mmmmm...mole

m...m...mmmmm...mole

(see austin powers)

started the day with another mini tractor/trailer ride accross the fields to enable maximum to ride along a farm track.
he likey the bike riding: he's getting the hang of it quite quickly now he's got tarmac/concrete to speed along.
a few crashes but nothing major.

at lunchtime, while i was parked up on the m25, en-route to collect a swing set from orpington we'd robbed off ebay for £23, james (game keeper, man mon-fri etc... etc...) caught a live mole and mrs.perou took this out of focus picture of it.

i would have drowned it, but in my abscence, the nice people here at the perou farm walked it 1/2 a mile away from ours, over the stream and released it into 'the wild'.

ahhhh...

the boys LOVE the swing set.

mrs.perou was just telling me that someone was going to get hurt when maximum kind of did, after an amazing aerial display where he was lying on a double length swing one minute, hovering in mid air the next and lying on the floor crying to finish.

the good fun bank holiday monday cont...

the good fun bank holiday monday cont...

so...we find ourselves a leaky pipe in the orchard.
problem being, there is no stop-cock to turn, to turn it off: it taps straight off the mains.

several hours later, a big wet hole, james angle grinds out the bastard holey section and temporarily fixes it with a whittled down, oak bung.

big hole in the front lawn to follow.

hahahaha...what a relaxing, afternoon.
here's james (aka human real tree) with the offending piece of old iron pipe.

i WAS not going to be drinking cider today.

this resolution failed around 2pm
