the friendly blender fish
this fish always cheers me up.
he/she lives in a fish tank in the reception of blender magazine's offices in NY.
it's got cRAZZZZy blue eyes and seems to like being photographed...

like a pheonix we rise up from the ashes
i found myself in a nasty assed hotel in feltham last night.
not even nasty in a cool way.
and got a smoking room for my troubles which stank: i had to get up and shower the smell off me this morning.
if it hadn't been so late when i arrived and if i wasn't leaving so early, i'd have done some complaining.
got to heathrow and met frances at 7am this morning.
recovered some in the delightful upper class virgin lounge.
flew to NY.
arrived feeling sick: like i'd been reading in a car and unamused.
had two meetings: one at espn and one at blender.
litterally bumped into phil knott on east 34th street...i was just looking lost when i heard a 'perou..?'
always good to see him: we go a way back: 'full-on phil'.
LOVE his new work.
dinner early, struggling to stay awake and then sore eyes to sleep.
night night (or good morning, depending on your timezone).
