got up early and over to the marlborough gallery (no.6 albemarle street, london W1) to photograph cathie pilkington's 'white elephant' show.
it's AMAZING.
i met cathie when i photographed her with paula rego for the guardian 'mentors' piece.
her work is fantastic so i was very pleased to be photographing it and seeing the show.
it was a lot more difficult than i had imagined it would be though.
more of a lighting exercise.
took a little too long to do it.
then sped north up the m11 to photograph 'lennyhenry' in peterborough.
he was very friendly.
he's just finished a degree in english literature.
had a short happy shoot.
stocked up on redbull and mince pies at tesco metro and boosted home to the farm.
arrived buzzing unpleasantly.
drank too much cider in an attempt to wind down and went to bed buzzing and drunk...
lay in bed for 3 hours not sleeping then went for a wander round the house thinking the security lights must be on outside...but it's f***ing daylight bright moonlight isn't it?
GGGGgggggrrrrrrrr...
buggrs buggrs buggrs.
so wrote this late anyway...
and now (for my next trick) i might make myself a hot chocolate, watch a movie and try to pass out on the sofa.
