first view of farm
left NY on an 8am flight.
landed in london at 8pm.
by 9pm i was getting into a verbal (almost physical) fight with a black cab 'driver'
the 15th in a row that wouldn't let me pay for a ride by creditcard and the 1st of 8 to say he couldn't / wouldn't stop at a cashpoint/ATM along the way so i could get out more cash to pay the absurdly expensive rates to get into london central.
what a welcome home.
had to struggle back with all the bags to a cashpoint in the airport and then re-join the back of the taxi queue.
wasted 45mins.
regardless.
the perou-mobile engine is rebuilt and sweet.
only now a new issue with the steering to resolve.
the 8hrs it took the garage to get rid of the pig blood and associated smells cost me £540.
HA!
making them very expensive sausages indeed.
back at farm.
cold and dark.
mrs.perou still up watching 'spooks' when i got in at 11pm.
