ashdown forest

i used to spend a lot of time walking on ashdown forest (and taking pictures) when i was a kid living in east sussex.
but i haven't been there for a while.

after lunch at my mum and dad's with the family, wrapped up and took a drive up past 'nutley'.
until
till z slipped on ice and sat ass down in a cold, muddy puddle.
and maximum jumped through the ice on another puddle getting wet, cold mud up to his ankles (all over his recently cleaned (by me) trainers).

my cold was better this morning.

now it's back to gnarly.
less snot more chesty.
