riding shotgun

riding shotgun

it's rough round where we live: armed escorts on combine harvesters.

many rabbits met their untimely end today.

not quite sure if this was opportunistic or necessary so you don't get mangled rabbit in with your corn?

both sons were waving frantically at the farmer driving the combine, hoping for a ride but today was more about firearms and pest control than picking up hitch-hikers

lizard boy

lizard boy

spent another morning in the attic.
reckon my work there will be done in 2 or three more seesions.

after lunch, drove over to 'goodnestone park' which was stunning.

maximum got his face painted.
he wanted to be a lizard.

he spent the rest of the afternoon running around the gardens hissing and sticking his tongue out at people.

we told him it's paint that never comes off.

he is not concerned.

!

happened on this on the way home and had to shoot it for DM: another inexplicable english road sign.
i've never seen this before...

returned to farm and filled up both ears with water in the swimming pool.

i can hardly hear at all now.
and no matter how much head banging i do, i can't seem to shift the water.

pardon?
