LOST YOUR CAT?
spent 5 hours woodworm treating exposed beams and boards in the attic.
sweating in a hazmat suit and listening to very loud radio 4.
with the removal of 50 more nails, my work there is done.
another man delivered another lorry load of wood for the stables.
it rained
for the first time in a long time.
the 'guardian weekend' called with a commission: first job in a year(ish) for them.
i wondered if it was because i was the only photographer NOT to object to their new rights deal and sign the petition against it?
i know it goes against popular (photographer) opinion, but i reckon if a company pays for a shoot they SHOULD be able to use it again for free.
as long as I can resell those pictures to other people and keep copyright too.
it's not like the enemy (NME) when they brought in their semi-illegal and fully-retarded contract back in the day, that had us all say 'get fucked'.
(and subsequently saw the NME replace almost all their regular photographers with kids out of college who WOULD sign their rights away, desperate for a gig: resulting in picture quality plummeting to a new all time low and NOBODY gave a shit. the 'magazine' actually started selling more issues).
on another note: WTF? Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi who was responsible for the lockerbie bombing should NOT have been released.
how the fuck does he qualify for any compassionate grounds for anything?
he should have died in prison or maybe we could have saved some ca$h and executed him once found guilty.
am i ranting?
it maybe the woodworm treatment.
