leeds castle (revisted)
i'd REALLY like to live here.
like king henry VIII used to sometimes
but if i did, i'd make sure there was no riff-raff coming round and messing the place up.
it would be private not public.
the public are so untidy.

5 boys
took a long planned day off to spend with my dear (old: HA!) friend geoff and his family.
z, mrs.perou. maximum, oliver (my godson), rosie, geoff, thomas, danny and yours truly.
it could/should have been a day without business.
but sadly, i seemed to get more phone calls and emails than normal.

amazing
geoff and danny.
the maze at leeds castle is excellent.
i got completely lost...and was only saved by maximum who found his way back to me and explained the 'hold your right hand out to the hedge and keep walking: you'll find the middle'.
true.

underneath the hill in the middle of the maze there's a fantastic grotto.
this is about 12ft high and has a little water fall inside it's mouth.

it's a little scary for 4yr olds.
it leads all the way under the maze and brings you out on the lawns again.
i want one.
