taschen again

taschen again

it's unusually quiet.
which makes me uneasy.
too much time to overthink.

but the space is enabling me to revisit the hell that is 'updating my portfolio'.
made worse, as this time it's a complete reinvention.

i HATE doing my books.
there are too many pictures to choose from and infinite ways of ordering them together.
i'd rather be shooting.

selling oneself is so very tedious.

last night maximum said, 'next time you go to a country that sells ugly dolls, can you get me another one?'
instead of telling him we could could them here, i said, 'i'll have to get a job first'
'you have a job', he said, 'you're a photographer'.
'i was a photographer last week when i had a job but now i'm unemployed again till the next one comes in: it's always the same'.

lessons in self employment.

around me, the farm work continues:
kim and jim are 3 days into the post and rail fencing for the paddocks.

martin's almost finished plaster-boarding the attic.

mickey of the ward has been waiting for the last bays of concrete to go off and we're expecting more fresh muck tomorrow.

ms.hood has been getting a headache with some advanced retouching (not this) in the office.

the pictures of beautiful alison mosshart with the filthy voice (shot for the sunday times style magazine) are up HERE now.

today's big love goes out to jan's lady danielle: get better soon.

and i'm selling my under-used but high achieving canon 1ds mkII body...make me an offer in the region of £2000 and it's your's.

AND, i might have  jumble sale of oddly framed prints from various past exhibtions and/or torn off the walls of the old perou factory.
maybe on ebay, for kicks....tbc
