everything is distraction

everything is distraction

spent the early morning deliberating about flooring.

the new waste of life and mental energy relates to carpet (which mrs.perou HATES) vs sisal or wooden floors and rugs (which i don't like) upstairs
and a debate about the best way to turn the painted floorboards on the ground floor of the farmhouse back to unpainted boards (since we painted them with hardcore floor paint).

do we get carpet that costs £17 per sq. m that we don't like or £65 per sq. m that we do, or £105 per sq m that we don't?

all i know is i don't want to have to think about these things.

everything is distraction.

i mean EVERYTHING.

DTT and got caught in old kent road which was doubling up as a car park.

thought i was arriving on time (which is late for me because i like to be early) to shoot kelly jones from 'stereophonics' with his dad oscar for this ongoing feature.
but i'd misread the callsheet and arrived 2.5hrs early :(

todays driving to shooting ratio was 100:1 (for every minute i shot, i drove for 100)

apres shoot returned round the slow crawling m25 to farm and once again back in time to read maximum another chapter of 'the dawn treader'.
last night he listened to 'mazzy star' after refusing 'lloyd cole'.
guitars however jangly still a way off.

i will be watching 'question time' tonight.
but i don't think the BNP should be given ANY credibility and should NOT have been invited on.
you can't debate with morons
