A&E again
at half midnight this morning, z's croup and breathing was so bad we were told to standby for the ambulance.
7 minutes later it arrived.
which is pretty good seeing as how we're in the middle of nowhere.
i stayed at home with maximum and then went to margate hospital to pick up z and mrs.perou at 4.30am.
saw an owl on the way there and an owl on the way back.
and two foxes.
apparently the A&E was full of teenagers on 'bad' drugs or drunk to oblivion wasting time and resources.
respect as usual to all the brilliant NHS peoples that helped us through this mini-emergency.
z still has croup and maximum's cold's getting worse.
me and mrs.perou are fine but knackered (like we were partying all last night: if only: HA!)
multi skills
after some sleeping in shifts, i finally turned up at stable build to help max snr with some bricklaying.
my straight lines have always been a problem.
the day is done
z has just fallen asleep with his head on the kitchen table.
forsaking his favourite dinner: pancakes with chocolate spread.
the steamer is on in his room (despite this not being enough last night) and we're expecting another rough ride.
thankgods the clocks went back this morning giving us an extra hour in bed, kind of.
winter is upon us.
